How Seenry Skills Work

From a brief to a reviewed interface: how the skills guide research, layout, implementation, and iteration.

GitHubSkills website

Seenry Skills is a set of instructions, references, and tools that teaches a coding agent a more deliberate way to design. It works with the agent you already use. It is not another model or a collection of ready-made page templates.

What does the skill add?

Instead of jumping straight from a prompt to a page, the skill asks the agent to understand the task, study references, establish a layout system, and compare directions. Then it builds and checks the actual interface.

Brief

Name the user, task, and constraints.

Research

Study real interfaces and their decisions.

Explore

Compare layouts inside one system.

Build

Use real content and working states.

Review

Inspect the page, then revise it.

↶ Review feeds back into the layout and build. The first output is a starting point.

The layout system includes shared widths, spacing, typography, and component states. Keeping those rules consistent lets the agent explore the composition without inventing a new visual language for every section.

Generic AI output → a more specific result

Take a simple request: “Make a website for my neighborhood bakery.” The Skills website publishes two examples for the same prompt: one without the skill, one with Seenry. Switch between the live pages, scroll inside them, and try their controls. Open either example full-size to inspect the desktop layout.

The centered headline and familiar styling could describe many bakeries. The opening says little about what is available today.

The useful change is not just the color. The second example gives the bakery a specific subject: the morning bake, the product, and what is available. The layout supports that story instead of relying on a headline that could fit almost any bakery.

These are the site’s published examples, not a new experiment or a promise that every prompt will improve. Explore the comparison on the Skills website.

From a prompt to a design decision

For a bakery, the agent needs to ask what a visitor came to do: check today’s bread, find opening times, or plan a visit. That changes what deserves the largest area of the screen.

References help explore how to present that information. A shared grid keeps it aligned. Different compositions test what leads. Review checks whether the result remains readable, useful, and consistent on a phone.

The skill makes those steps explicit. It does not remove the need for feedback; a clean build can still be the wrong design.

One process, specialist skills

The main skill connects the work. Motion handles behavior; assets handles visual material; review checks an existing interface. Other skills cover native apps, branding, deck research, and product films.

Seenry MCP is an optional research connection for real screens and recordings. The skills guide the process; MCP supplies reference material.

Give your agent a concrete brief: “Use Seenry to design a bakery homepage. Prioritize today’s bread, opening hours, and location. Compare layouts and check the phone version.”
